Susanna practices Reiki as well as BodyTalk and often combines these two holistic healing techniques.

Reiki Treatment

Reiki is a healing technique based on the principle of free and uninterrupted energy flow and helps activate the natural healing processes in each patient’s body as well as to restore their physical and emotional well-being. As a certified Reiki Master/Teacher, Susanna helps clients on a physical, mental and emotional level. Reiki works in acute and chronic cases and has been shown to reduce stress, pain, sleeplessness, anxiety. It also helps with depression, exhaustion, feeling depleted, mental confusion, and much more.

BodyTalk Treatment

The BodyTalk System seeks to address the “whole person” – and it focuses on emotional, mental, physical and environmental aspects of our health. A BodyTalk practitioner understands the profound influence the psychology of the body has on our health. Instead of focusing on the symptom, BodyTalk finds the underlying causes of un-wellbeing by addressing the person and their story. The BodyTalk techniques provide insights to the areas of your body that need attention. What might seem like an obvious problem to you is not necessarily the one your body wants to address first. This is the beauty of BodyTalk. It respects the body’s own needs and determines your body’s priorities for healing. Then, with the use of a variety of non-invasive techniques, BodyTalkers refocus your body’s natural healing response to establish better communication within the body. Reiki Master

Courses: Reiki / Mindfulness Experience

Susanna  teaches her Classes in an informal way and in very small groups of 3-5 participants. The classes consist of a course manual, lots of discussions, information, meditations and hands-on experience.

Reiki I

In this class, you will hear about the history of Reiki, how it is taught and how it is used. This class also introduces the concept of ‘holistic health care’, the seven chakras and how to use ‘hands on healing’ for yourself and your family. After the class, you are required to do a 21-day hand-placement on yourself to fully activate your Reiki channels.

Reiki II

In Reiki II you will learn the first three sacred symbols of Reiki, so you can do remote/distant healing. This also allows us work with past, present and future issues (related to health, work, schooling, family life etc.). This course brings you to a ‘Reiki Practitioner’ Certification. After this class, a 21-day hand placement period is required as well.​

Reiki III

Level 3a – Reiki Master Course
  • Reiki level 3a is suitable for everyone who wants to master Reiki without the pressure of teaching. In this class we introduce the fourth symbol, the spiritual healing symbol and all that it encompasses.
Level 3a & 3b – Reiki Master / Teacher
  • Reiki level 3b takes Reiki to the teacher level – you will learn how to attune others to the healing art of Reiki.
Both levels come with separate manuals. Reiki level 3a must be completed before taking Reiki 3b. We highly recommend taking it to the teacher level even if you only intend attuning family members.

Reiki Refresher Course

Mindfulness Experience – 8 Week Mindfulness Course

Research has shown that people who are more mindful are generally happier and report less anxiety, symptoms of depression, anger, and worries. A higher degree of mindfulness is also associated with reduced stress and increased gratitude, hope, and vitality. So, if practicing mindfulness holds such powerful potential for our wellbeing, why aren’t we all doing it every day? The reason is often that we need more guidance and support than simply downloading an app. We need to better understand the underlying processes and research behind mindfulness. This is why going on an 8-week mindfulness experience and has proven to be a wonderful experience for all participants.
Why 8 weeks (weekly get-togethers of 2 ½ hours)?
Mindfulness is not something you can ‘just learn’ in a classroom. One has to understand it and its benefits and integrate it into daily live. This is a process, and every day is an opportunity to begin anew. During the 8-week mindfulness experience, Susanna dives into a different aspect of mindfulness every week and participants get the chance to incorporate the new information into their lives. Topics like ‘Attention and The Now’, automatic behavior and thinking, judgment, acceptance, goals, compassion and the Ego will be discussed and brought in relationship with each other and mindfulness. By going through this process in a group in which the participants support each other and share their experiences, the transfer of the course topics into daily life is reinforced. BodyTalk Principles

Innate Wisdom of the Body

BodyTalk is based on the principle that the body is capable of healing itself at all levels – as evidenced by the healing process that is automatically initiated when a person cuts a finger or twists an ankle. This automatic, self-guided healing process is part of the body’s inborn intelligence, or the “innate wisdom” of the body, as we call it in BodyTalk. The innate wisdom guides the overall functioning of the bodymind complex, synchronizes all the activities as well as maintains balance, or homeostasis, within the bodymind complex.

Stress Affects our Health

Stress has a profound effect on the body and its ability to heal and function at an optimal level. When an individual experiences ongoing stress, it can overload the energetic circuits of the body, causing them to fail or be severely compromised. This is just like plugging too many appliances into an outlet and tripping a circuit breaker in your home. You have blown a fuse and must go reset it. Often times the body cannot reset these blown circuits on its own, so the body then must continue to function in a less than ideal state. This ultimately leads to degeneration, illness and pain in the body, a sign that it is simply falling behind in the healing process. Stress-related illnesses include, but are not limited to: high blood pressure and heart rate, digestive disorders, hormone and endocrine imbalances, fatigue, infertility issues and all manner of immune system disorders.

Energetic Circuits and Communication

Every single cell, atom, and system is in constant communication with every other cell, atom and system within the bodymind complex at all times. This includes communication through the nervous system, as well as the other subtle energy circuits of the body – such as the meridians and the electromagnetic frequencies that are produced by the body through its functioning. Stress we experience in our daily life can cause these circuits to become compromised, weakening or disrupting the communication between the cells and systems.
